Proposed CCB Bylaw Amendments Due Sunday

As was stated in the CCB Convention Connection, Proposed amendments for 2026 to the CCB bylaws are due this Sunday, March 1. Members have the opportunity to submit amendments to be considered by the bylaws committee, then voted on by the convention starting April 30. You can view our current bylaws on our website at:

The Silicon Valley Council of the Blind is seeking applicants for our annual Barbara Rhodes access technology grant.
The purpose of this grant is to ensure greater economic opportunity and a richer quality of life for those who are visually impaired or blind. SVCB will award a grant of up to $1,000 to visually impaired or blind individuals who can best demonstrate the need for access technology that will improve their quality of life or advance their educational and/or employment opportunities.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and reside in one of the following counties: Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, or San Benito. To learn more about this grant or to submit an application, visit
