To increase the equity and independence of Californians who are blind or have low vision.

We empower our members to persevere in their advocacy for the rights, access, and respect they deserve.

Integrity:
We hold each other and our Board of Directors to high ethical standards, valuing trust built on honesty and transparency, while protecting our members' confidentiality.

Grassroots Community:
We value our history of democratic process, and our peer support fostering new leaders through mentorship, education, and collaboration alongside allies in the larger community.

Diversity:
We celebrate that CCB members come from many backgrounds and believe that all have the right to be and feel included and valued. We treat each other with respect, compassion, and empathy while practicing active listening and flexibility.
