Dear CCB Family:
A listening session will be held on Wednesday, May 27 at 7:30 p.m. to give CCB members the opportunity to provide constructive and balanced feedback regarding the recently concluded 2026 Conference and Convention. We will also be sharing a post-convention survey shortly. This survey will be available as both an on-line form and as an email that can simply be replied to and returned. From the Technology Committee:
The CCB technology committee is proud to announce our first training session to be held on Wednesday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. This session will focus on free training resources available to assist members in gaining knowledge and independence in using their assistive technology. Please watch the CCB list for the Zoom link and come join us!
From ACB Next Generation
ACB NextGen an affiliate of the American Council of the Blind, will hold its Annual ACB Next Generation Auction on Zoom and on ACB Media on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The proceeds from this exciting event will go directly to ACB Next Generation.
I’m writing today to ask for your very kind donation. We would prefer for items to be sent directly to the winning bidder. However, we can make arrangements to receive any items now as well. We would appreciate to know of your donation by May 14, 2026. Thanks to those who have already donated.

We are looking for things like gift cards and other items that our membership may enjoy. Some past items have included apparel, crafting items, and experiences.

Courier submissions:
In order to submit an item, please provide the message either to the office or to Andrea DeKlotz directly at 714-921-0289 or
submit.courier@ccbnet.org by 5:00 pm on Wednesday before the Courier is recorded. Also, please make sure your message states in the subject line that it is for the Courier, or it may be missed .
In the interest of providing as much information to our members as possible, we ask that you limit submissions to 75 words or less.
Please note that any ads will run for no longer than three weeks, and CCB is not responsible for any transactions between persons resulting from these ads.
