Northern California Regional Braille Challenge
Saturday, March 7, 2026 Northern California Regional Braille Challenge
Celebrating braille literacy, confidence, and community Each year, blind and low-vision students, families, and educators from across Northern California come together to celebrate braille literacy at the Northern California Braille Challenge. Participants put their braille skills to the test through contests in reading comprehension, speed and accuracy, spelling, proofreading, and tactile graphics. Beyond the competition, the day offers workshops, resources, and meaningful opportunities for students and families to connect, learn, and be inspired.
Join us in person at LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco for a day of competition and celebration of
braille! Registration details and ways to get involved will be shared in the coming weeks.
