Welcome to the CCB Courier for June 13, 2025.
From President Guillermo Robles:
the ACB convention June 23 to July 11th is upon us. There’s a lot happening this year and great activities both virtually and in person, including elections. We are planning a California Caucus June 16th at 7:30 PM to inform members and gather opinions of the candidates running for national office, discuss proposed amendments and changes to voting, and finally find out what’s new with the resolutions process.
This year, Guillermo Robles will be serving as your delegate for the convention, and Steve Bauer will serve as alternates. Information on casting your vote throughout the convention will soon follow. ACB will have its candidate forum Wednesday, June 11 at 5:00 Pacific. Ways to participate will be in your inbox soon. Also, to learn more about the candidates, please see the link below. If you have any questions, feel free to write to president@ccbnet.org or call (310) 896-8525.

New Website of Interest
There is a new website, theblindvine.org, which houses all the resources for blind people in California in one place. This means having up to date news, grants, conferences, and all the events and classes for each month for every blindness organization in California. Hopefully this can help people get connected to resources and community beyond their local area.
