CCB Courier April 18 2025

Welcome to the CCB Courier for April 18, 2025.

From CCB Leadership

the CCB board met Thursday night in a closed session and received the news that President Sarah Harris has accepted a job with the California Department of Rehabilitation and will be required to step down from her leadership role in CCB and other consumer organizations. Given her resignation, it was important to fill this vacancy as soon as possible since the president is the Chief Executive officer of CCB. Elections were held pursuant to article 6.6 of our bylaws which reads:
In the event that an officer or director vacates their position prior to the scheduled end of their term, the board shall, by majority vote,
select a replacement who shall serve for the remainder of the term.
Elections were held and conducted by 2nd Vice President Rob Turner. The board elected Guillermo Robles by acclimation to serve out Sarah’s term as President ending June 30 of 2026. By acclimation, the board elected Regina Brink to serve out the remainder of Guillermo’s term as 1st Vice President ending June 30 of this year. Phill Obregon was elected by acclimation to serve out Regina Brink’s term as director ending June 30, 2026.
All of this of course will have no effect on upcoming elections. We will elect a 1st vice President, a Secretary, and five directors on May 2 at our annual convention

Inclusive Diversity of California (IDC) cordially invites you to attend our pre-convention program:
