The California Council of the Blind is a non-profit tax-exempt organization composed primarily of Californians who are blind or have low vision.

Since our founding in 1934, CCB has assisted thousands of blind people through the Council's numerous chapters located throughout the state. In addition, we have a variety of special interest affiliates and committees to address important issues such as:
